About Kayleigh
Kayleigh Shoen’s fiction has appeared in literary magazines including Barrelhouse, X-R-A-Y, Milk Candy Review, [100 word story], and others. Her stories have been longlisted for the Wigleaf Top 50 and nominated for Best of the Net.
Kayleigh holds an MFA from Emerson College, where she received a Graduate Dean’s Fellowship, the WLP Graduate Writing Award for her thesis, and recognition for her work curating the Graduate Reading Series.
She has taught writing and literature classes both online and in-person through Grub Street, Arlington Community Education, and independently. While at Emerson, she taught expository and creative writing through the First Year Writing Program, emersonWRITES community writing, and the Pre-College Creative Writers Program.
